| After defeating Ikkaku and Yumichika, Ichigo and Ganju are chased by Division 11. They decide to take a weak Shinigami hostage in an attempt to get away. This fails as the Division chasing him don't care for the Shinigami that they took hostage. They are again forced to run and take the hostage with them. Hanatarou finds out that they're going to save Rukia and agrees to help them as a healer like Inoue would.
